1) This golf course has a 72 par for 18 holes.
2) Each hole is either a par 3, 4, or 5. The par for holes 1-9 are: 4, 4, 4, 5, 4, 4, 3, 4, 4. The pars for holes 10-18 are: 4, 4, 5, 4, 3, 4, 4, 3, 5.
3) This game is not played with the 9, 10, J, Q, K. Take those cards out of the deck.
4) Make three groups of cards. In group 1 put one each of the following cards: ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. This group is used for par 3 holes. In group 2 put one each of the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. This group is used for the par 4 holes. In group 3 put one each of the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. This group is used for the par 5 holes.
5) Make sure all cards are face down in each group and shuffled.
6) Since the first hole is a par 4, only the cards in group 2 (2-7) are used.
7) Draw a card. The number drawn is how many shots it took to get the ball in. If you draw a 4, you made par. If you draw a 7, you made 3 over par. If you draw a 2, you made 2 under par. Keep a running list on paper of the score for each hole.
8) Put the card back in the group and shuffle them, then draw one for the hole 2 score.
9) On hole 4 it changes to a par 5, so you would use the group 3 cards (3-8).
10) On the par 3 holes, an ace is a hole in one.
11) The lowest score you can get (best) is a -36. You would have to get 2 under on all 18 holes. The highest score you can get (worst) is a +54. You would have to get 3 over on all 18 holes.
Players - (1 - 4 players) More than one player? One player plays at a time, then the next player shuffles the group of cards for that hole and draws. The player who gets the lowest score at the end of 18 holes wins.
Ties - If the score is tied at the end of 18 holes, each player plays another hole starting at hole 1. Whoever gets the lowest score on hole 1 is the winner. If hole 1 is a tie, then hole 2 is played and so on until the tie is broken.
Other Sports - More sport card games are baseball, basketball, boxing, drag racing, and horse racing.
