Card Game: Total 50

1) Shuffle a standard deck of 52 cards.
2) The cards have to be face down so you can't see them. You can hold the deck in your hands.
3) Draw one card from the deck and see what it is.
4) The goal is to get a total of 50 or more in as few cards as possible. The number cards (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are worth their face value. The picture cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10 points. The ace is worth 11 points.
5) Keep drawing cards until your total is 50 or more.
6) Keep all the cards you draw in a separate pile. Add them up at the end and see how many cards you drew.
7) The fastest you can get to a total of 50 is in five cards.

Players - (1 - unlimited) More than one player? One player plays at a time, then the next player shuffles the deck of cards and plays. The player who gets 50 or more in the fewest cards drawn wins.

Ties - If the score is tied at the end of the round, each player plays another round. Whoever gets 50 or more in as few cards as possible wins. If still a tie, another round is played until tie is broken.

Similar Game - The game total 25 is played until 25 instead of 50.
