Boxing card game

ace of diamonds two of spades
Card Game: Boxing

1) This game is not played with the J, Q, K. Take those cards out of the deck.
2) Each player takes two each of cards from 2-10 and two aces, for a total of 20 cards each. The boxers are determined by color. So one player will take all red cards and the other black cards. The 20 cards are then shuffled.
3) The 20 cards are held in hand and must be face down.
4) Each player takes a card and puts it face up in front.
5) Whoever has the highest card wins the round and gets points according to how high their card is to the other players card. (E.g., if you draw a 10 and the other player draws a 5, the player who drew the 10 wins the round and gets 5 points.)
6) If both players draw the same card, nobody gets points for that round.
7) If a player draws an ace and the other player draws a 2, 3, or 4, the player who drew the ace wins the match by knockout. If a player draws an ace and the other player draws a 5 or higher, the player is not knocked out. The ace counts as 11 points. So the player who drew the ace gets 6 points for the round.
8) If both players draw an ace in the same round, the match is a double knockout and ends as a draw.
9) After each round, the cards drawn are not reused again for the match.
10) There are a total of 12 rounds in a match. Whoever has the highest point total after 12 rounds wins, unless a knockout ends the match sooner.

Players - (2 players) There are a total of 12 rounds in a match. Whoever has the highest point total after 12 rounds wins, unless a knockout ends the match sooner. Keep track of points for each round on paper.

Ties - If both players have the same point total after 12 rounds, the match ends in a draw. If both players draw an ace in the same round, the match ends in a double knockout.

Other Sports - More sport card games are baseball, basketball, drag racing, golf, and horse racing.

Golf card game

ace of diamonds
Card Game: Golf

1) This golf course has a 72 par for 18 holes.
2) Each hole is either a par 3, 4, or 5. The par for holes 1-9 are: 4, 4, 4, 5, 4, 4, 3, 4, 4. The pars for holes 10-18 are: 4, 4, 5, 4, 3, 4, 4, 3, 5.
3) This game is not played with the 9, 10, J, Q, K. Take those cards out of the deck.
4) Make three groups of cards. In group 1 put one each of the following cards: ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. This group is used for par 3 holes. In group 2 put one each of the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. This group is used for the par 4 holes. In group 3 put one each of the 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. This group is used for the par 5 holes.
5) Make sure all cards are face down in each group and shuffled.
6) Since the first hole is a par 4, only the cards in group 2 (2-7) are used.
7) Draw a card. The number drawn is how many shots it took to get the ball in. If you draw a 4, you made par. If you draw a 7, you made 3 over par. If you draw a 2, you made 2 under par. Keep a running list on paper of the score for each hole.
8) Put the card back in the group and shuffle them, then draw one for the hole 2 score.
9) On hole 4 it changes to a par 5, so you would use the group 3 cards (3-8).
10) On the par 3 holes, an ace is a hole in one.
11) The lowest score you can get (best) is a -36. You would have to get 2 under on all 18 holes. The highest score you can get (worst) is a +54. You would have to get 3 over on all 18 holes.

Players - (1 - 4 players) More than one player? One player plays at a time, then the next player shuffles the group of cards for that hole and draws. The player who gets the lowest score at the end of 18 holes wins.

Ties - If the score is tied at the end of 18 holes, each player plays another hole starting at hole 1. Whoever gets the lowest score on hole 1 is the winner. If hole 1 is a tie, then hole 2 is played and so on until the tie is broken.

Other Sports - More sport card games are baseball, basketball, boxing, drag racing, and horse racing.

Baseball card game

four of spades
Card Game: Baseball

1) Both players draw a card from the deck. The highest card bats first. Ace is the highest card. If a tie, both players draw another card from deck.
2) This game is not played with the 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K. Take those cards out of the deck. Shuffle the remaining deck of 20 cards.
3) The cards have to be face down so you can't see them.
4) Draw one card from the deck and see what it is. The card on top must always be selected next.
5) In this baseball game, each card is a hit or an out. The ace is a single, a 2 is a double, a 3 is a triple, a 4 is a home run, and a 5 is an out.
6) As the cards are drawn, they get placed in a diamond formation just as if running the basses in baseball. (E.g., if you draw a 2, it is a double, so the card should go at the 12 o' clock position for second base. If you then draw a 3, it is a triple, so the runner at second scores and a man is on third base for a triple. The card gets placed at the 9 o' clock position for third base.)
7) Runners always advance. If a man is on third base and an ace is drawn for a single, the runner at third advances and scores at home plate.
8) As cards are drawn, they are put either on base, and as they score they are put in separate pile. Outs are put in the same pile as scored runs. No cards are reused for a sides (players) turn at bat.
9) Cards keep being drawn until a side (player) gets three outs (three 5's are drawn) then the other side (player) bats.
10) Scored runs can be kept track of on paper. Outs can be kept track of by turning the 5 cards up as they are drawn.

Players - (2 players) The first team bats until 3 outs are reached. Once a side is out, all 20 cards are shuffled. Then the second team bats.

Ties - The side batting second has to score more runs to win the game. If they match the score, an extra inning or innings are played.

Variations - The game can be played for more than 1 inning or a full 9 innings. One or no more than a few innings are recommended though, as more innings would have a much higher score than a real baseball game and take a long time to complete.

Other Sports - More sport card games are basketball, boxing, drag racing, golf, and horse racing.

1 mile horse race

eight of spades
Card Game: 1 mile horse race

1) This game is not played with the J, Q, K, A. Take those cards out of the deck. Shuffle the remaining deck of 36 cards.
2) The cards have to be face down so you can't see them.
3) Draw one card from the deck and see what it is. The card on top must always be selected next.
4) Each card drawn is how far your horse has traveled for every furlong the super horse (the leader which no player controls) has run. If you draw a 2, your horse has traveled 2 lengths. If you draw a 10, he traveled 10 lengths.
5) The other players then draw a card from the remaining 35 cards left. If more than 2 players, then the third player will go next and then fourth player. After all players have drawn a card, the first player then draws again for the second time (second furlong) and so on.
6) As the cards are drawn, they are put in a separate line face up for each player. The running total of each player can be totalled as the race is in progress.
7) Each player will draw 8 cards, 1 for each furlong. (There are 8 furlongs in 1 mile.)
8) The winner of the race is always the super horse which nobody controls. The player whose horse has travelled the most lengths after 8 turns (8 furlongs) will come in second behind the super horse.
9) The most your horse can travel is 76 lengths. This can be done if you draw four 10's and four 9's. The least he can travel is 20 lengths; four 2's and four 3's.

Players - (2 - 4 players) One player draws a card, then the next player draws a card from the remaining 35 cards left. If more than 2 players, then the third player will go next and then fourth player. After all players have drawn a card, the first player then draws again for the second time (second furlong) and so on until each player draws 8 cards for 8 furlongs.

Ties - The super horse always wins the race, so you can't finish the race in first place. The best you can run is for second place. There are no tiebreakers for second. If the total is the same for 2 or more players, the race is a dead heat for second place (both or more players come in second behind the super horse).

Other Sports - More sport card games are baseball, basketball, boxing, drag racing, and golf.
